Funding for Accommodation at the Kolping House

The funding for accommodation at the Kolpinghaus Graz supports non-profit organizations in Styria in providing missing boarding places for around 30 vocational school students. Within the framework of this open-ended grant program, the State of Styria provides financial resources to enable young skilled workers to access a safe and supervised living environment at the Kolpinghaus Graz. Submissions can be made at any time – there are no fixed deadlines, and applications are processed continuously. The funding measure aims to strengthen the education and training sector by sustainably compensating for infrastructural bottlenecks in the housing area. Stamp duties and federal administrative fees are excluded from the funding, further reducing administrative effort.

Particularly interested are non-profit organizations that offer accommodation solutions for vocational school students in Graz and provide approximately 30 places for this purpose. A prerequisite for the grant is the provision of these accommodation capacities at the Kolpinghaus Graz. Only the official funding application form is required for the application, which must be submitted to Department 6 Education and Society of the Office of the Styrian State Government. Due to the gender-neutral orientation of the program, all trained vocational school students are equally considered. This direct funding makes a significant contribution to strengthening training and infrastructure in the urban area and provides vocational school students with a reliable housing perspective.
