Support for the Ursuline Foundation

The funding from the Ursuline Foundation supports church-related educational, upbringing, and youth work in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising at the Archiepiscopal Ursuline Schools in Landshut and at Hohenburg Castle in Lenggries. Based in Bavaria, the program is aimed at educational institutions as well as private individuals within the school context and focuses on promoting projects in the areas of education, vocational training, children and youth work, women's advancement, as well as labor and social affairs. In particular, learners from economically disadvantaged families benefit from grants that enable active participation in school life and make the spirit of the Ursuline community tangible.

Within the framework of ongoing funding opportunities, class trips, orientation days, school projects and events, as well as measures for social integration, are financially supported. A prerequisite for submitting an application is the status as a student at one of the Archiepiscopal Ursuline Schools in Landshut or Lenggries, as well as an economically disadvantaged family situation for applications for integration funding. The granted subsidy helps to sustainably strengthen the educational and personal development of young people and to enable them access to communal experiences beyond regular lessons.
