Funding of the Valentin Ostertag Foundation – Schools & Kindergartens Bad Dürkheim

The Valentin Ostertag Foundation continuously supports schools and kindergartens in the city of Bad Dürkheim with financial grants and awards. Each year, outstanding achievements by students are recognized through the awarding of prizes and the procurement of learning materials. The scope of support ranges from books to IT, play, and sports equipment, as well as practical facilities that enable modern teaching. Additionally, the foundation supports school trips to facilitate the participation of children from socially disadvantaged families in extracurricular educational offerings. In doing so, the foundation makes a sustainable contribution to equal opportunities and to strengthening the shared learning experience locally.

Institutions eligible to apply must be based within the city of Bad Dürkheim and may submit their funding applications throughout the year, as there are no fixed submission deadlines. Only expenses for learning materials, prizes for outstanding achievements, and subsidies for class trips are funded. Support is provided in the form of grants tailored individually to the needs of the institution. Through this investment of resources, the foundation promotes the education of children and young people and contributes to strengthening the educational level and sense of community in Rhineland-Palatinate in the long term.
