Description
Since its founding in 2005, the Volksbank BRAWO Foundation has been committed to the sustainable development of children and young people in the Braunschweig-Wolfsburg region. In close collaboration with the Engagement Center, it supports non-profit organizations and foundations that implement innovative projects in the fields of children and youth as well as work & social affairs. As a grant provider, the focus of support is on personnel costs, material expenses, transport and travel costs, project-related investments, as well as contracts for work and services from third parties. The goal is to strengthen local initiatives and provide long-term impulses for social cohesion.
Interested project sponsors from the Volksbank BRAWO's business area may submit an application at any time, as funding is provided on an ongoing basis. A prerequisite for a positive funding decision is the non-profit status of the applying institution as well as the orientation of the project towards children and youth initiatives within the region. For the application, the completed application form and – if available – the exemption notice must be submitted. The foundation evaluates incoming projects based on content and financial criteria and supports measures that have a tailored, long-term, and sustainable impact on young people.
