Description
The VR Bank Heilbronn Schwäbisch Hall – Foundation supports a variety of charitable projects within the Baden-Württemberg business area with grants ranging from €500 to €20,000. Funding is provided for activities in the fields of Science & Research, Education & Upbringing, Art & Culture, Environmental, Landscape & Monument Protection, Youth & Elderly Care, Public Health, Sports, as well as Social Assistance Services. Projects are evaluated based on their regional roots, solidity, quality, and sustainable impact (ESG/SDG criteria). The common good is central: each measure should achieve tangible positive effects for the population and institutions of the region. There is no legal entitlement to funding; allocation is made by the foundation board in accordance with the statutes and rules of procedure.
Eligible to apply are associations recognized as charitable, foundations, public institutions, as well as natural persons with residence or business premises in the funding area. A prerequisite is an official certificate of charitable status as well as submission of a project description and a cost and financing plan. The written application may be submitted to the foundation board at any time. Following a positive decision, grant recipients must provide evidence of fund usage and attach donation receipts. In doing so, the foundation provides “help for self-help” and promotes sustainably effective initiatives that strengthen and shape community life in the home region.
