Description
The Werte-Stiftung-Münsterland supports non-profit organizations, associations, educational institutions, and public entities in the Münsterland region in implementing a variety of projects. Eligible initiatives include areas such as research & innovation, education, culture, monument preservation, environmental and climate protection, health, youth and elderly care, disaster relief, sports, as well as engagement for social cohesion and democracy. The primary funding focus is on material costs; personnel and consultancy fees are only considered in exceptional cases. A prerequisite for funding is a valid exemption certificate aligned with one of the supported foundation purposes and the digital submission of the application via the official form. Additionally, a project description and the completed funding application must be submitted, with the project location required to be within the Münsterland region.
Applications can be submitted by March 30 and September 30 each year; decisions are made by the end of May and the end of November, respectively. The foundation aims to strengthen regional development and promote civic engagement. By financing material costs, new impulses are generated for science, public health care, art, habitat design, and social cohesion. Interested organizations have the opportunity to present their projects digitally and thus benefit from the long-standing experience and network of the Werte-Stiftung-Münsterland. A comprehensive decision-making process ensures fair and transparent funding for all applicants in the region.
