Description

The Vienna Employees’ Promotion Fund (waff) supports the Sprungbrett Association in the years 2024 to 2025 in organizing the amaZone Award as well as the amaZone Academy in Vienna. The award honors companies that distinguish themselves through exemplary training of young women* in skilled technical apprenticeships and through their commitment to equal opportunities and diversity. This award is accompanied by the amaZone Academy, an expert platform for exchanging ideas on women’s advancement in crafts and technical professions. The goal is to break traditional career choice patterns and increase the visibility of female* professionals in traditionally male-dominated fields.

Funding is provided to companies based in Vienna or within a 100-kilometer radius that currently train at least one female* apprentice in a skilled technical apprenticeship. The funding is granted as a subsidy based on the actual project implementation costs according to the funding agreement and is valid until December 31, 2027, with a maximum project duration of 48 months. To apply, a comprehensive project description, a detailed financial plan, and the completed application form must be submitted. The allocation of funds is based on the contractually agreed actual costs. Companies can submit their applications from January 1, 2024, and must submit them within the deadline before the end of the funding period. This program offers an attractive opportunity to showcase one’s training achievements and become part of a strong initiative for greater equality in the technical and craft sectors.
