Description

The State of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania supports projects within the framework of the guideline for promoting the European idea and European integration that contribute to cross-border encounters and European political education. Eligible applicants include interest groups, foundations, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and public institutions based in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Funding is provided particularly for study and information trips, conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, as well as publications that involve children and young people within the framework of Europe Week, EU project days, or in the run-up to the European elections. The program contributes to strengthening European cohesion and opens up new perspectives on common challenges within the European Union. The funding program EurFöRL M-V is designed as an ongoing call and allows project leaders flexible planning of their initiatives.

Grants of up to 50% of eligible expenses are available for the implementation of projects, with a maximum of €3,000 per project. Eligible costs include travel and accommodation expenses, rental costs for event venues, material costs within the project, as well as expenses for publications. A prerequisite for funding is a European political reference of the project, a registered office in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and at least 15% own funds. Applications, including the guideline, application form, and proof of use, must be submitted to the ministry no later than six weeks before the start of the project. This funding instrument supports project leaders in inspiring young people for the European integration process and building sustainable networks.
