Support for the Department of "Regional Mobility Management"

The promotion of regional mobility management in Upper Austria offers municipalities comprehensive and free consulting on infrastructure, Smart Cities & regions, as well as digitalization and urban development. The program is managed by Regionalmanagement OÖ GmbH and the State of Upper Austria, who jointly develop a coordinated annual work program. The goal is to support public institutions and companies in the design and implementation of measures to strengthen local mobility. With professional guidance from on-site mobility managers, innovative concepts are developed that promote sustainable transport structures and optimize networking between municipalities. The funding is provided as a grant and helps to fully exploit regional potentials.

All municipalities in Upper Austria that are supported within the framework of regional mobility management are eligible. A prerequisite for funding is the annual application submitted by Regionalmanagement OÖ GmbH to the State of Upper Austria, as well as a work program coordinated with the funding provider. For submission, a formal funding application and the detailed work programs of the mobility managers must be provided. Applications open each year on January 1st and continue until the funding volume is exhausted. Through continuous funding opportunities, municipalities can benefit from expert support in the long term and develop forward-looking mobility solutions.
