Description

The free IT training campus of 42 Vienna | education for digital excellence GmbH offers an innovative, three-year training model in Vienna, specifically tailored to the needs of the regional economy. The peer-to-peer learning concept foregoes traditional instruction; instead, participants develop creative solutions and strengthen an agile mindset through project-based work and gamification. Ecole 42 is a non-profit institution whose curriculum operates without formal teachers and is entirely free of charge. By focusing directly on software development and digitalization, the program contributes sustainably to meeting the growing demand for IT specialists in the Viennese economy.

The training is funded by a 100% grant from the Vienna Employees Promotion Fund (waff) for the period from 01.01.2025 to 31.12.2027. Participants must be at least 18 years old with no prior IT knowledge and must successfully complete an entry assessment. The application is made in accordance with the contractual agreements within the framework of the funding contract. As proof, a detailed project description and a financial plan must be submitted. Upon completion of this program, graduates gain excellent prospects as software developers and IT innovators in a dynamic labor market.
