Support for hunting enables interest groups and associations in Upper Austria to implement sustainable projects in environmental and nature conservation as well as animal welfare. Through financial grants from the state, measures to improve habitats for wildlife, the use of wildlife warning reflectors and wildlife rescue devices, as well as comprehensive species protection programs can be funded. Furthermore, scientific studies and monitoring projects are supported, which contribute to a better understanding of native animal populations and the optimization of hunting management strategies.
