Description

The state of Tyrol supports planning associations in the development of spatial planning-relevant projects through a non-repayable grant amounting to 30 percent of eligible expenses. Funding is provided for studies, guidelines, strategies, and spatial planning documents, including the necessary inventories and analyses. For cross-association planning projects in the Innsbruck region and surroundings, the funding maximum is €60,000; elsewhere, it is €30,000. The goal is to create a solid foundation for sustainable infrastructure, regional, urban development, as well as agricultural and rural development planning at the level of multiple municipalities.

Only public planning associations that actively involve all member municipalities in the planning and strategy development process are eligible for funding. Applications can be submitted informally to the state of Tyrol until December 30, 2030. Eligible costs include, among others, fees for process facilitators, moderation, inventories, and the preparation of the actual planning documents. Selection is based on compliance with the funding guidelines and a joint project of all participating municipalities. After project completion, performance verification is conducted based on the submitted invoices and depth of results.
