Description
The funding initiative “Eco-Booster 24-27” supports vocational training for skilled workers in the apprenticeship profession of installation and building technology in Vienna and is aimed at disadvantaged young adults between 18 and 25 years of age. Over a four-year project period from January 2024 to December 2027, comprehensive counseling, support, and qualification modules are offered prior to the start of training. During the intensive training, continuous pedagogical support is provided to ensure successful completion. Furthermore, the measure promotes basic technical competencies and strengthens professional action competence through practice-oriented content. The goal is to prepare participants optimally for the labor market and to develop skilled labor potential in installation and building technology in the long term. Financing is provided as a direct grant based on verified actual costs in accordance with the funding agreement.
The BFI Vienna is eligible for funding and assumes the allocation of youths registered with AMS Vienna. Participants must be between 18 and 24 years old, without completed vocational training, and possess a German language level of at least A2. Particularly asylum seekers and beneficiaries of subsidiary protection with basic educational needs and an interest in technical and craft-related activities benefit from this funding offer. For the application, a detailed project description and a comprehensible financial plan must be submitted. Deadlines are based on the contractual agreements in the funding contract, with the term extending until the end of 2027. This funding provides an equitable training option that combines technical qualification and personal support, thereby enabling sustainable integration into the Vienna labor market.
