Description
The qualification management of KUS is an innovative additional service to apprenticeship coaching in Vienna, funded between 01.01.2024 and 31.12.2026. The Culture and Sports Association of Vienna Vocational Schools (KUS) thus offers targeted support for apprentices residing in Vienna who aim to pass the final apprenticeship examination. The grant covers the actual costs incurred in accordance with the funding agreement and particularly strengthens soft skills, enables individual tutoring, and systematically prepares for the final apprenticeship examination (LAP). Through close cooperation with the Vienna Employees Promotion Fund (waff), seamless referrals via apprenticeship coaching or vocational training assistance are ensured.
Eligible for funding are non-profit association structures that implement the offer for apprentices. A prerequisite is proof of qualification needs as well as an official referral. Applications are to be submitted informally by no later than 31.12.2026 in accordance with contractual agreements, including a project description and a detailed financial plan. This concept promotes equitable training conditions and increases the success rate in final apprenticeship examinations. Apprentices aiming for a regular or extraordinary LAP benefit from a tailored learning and coaching offer that addresses individual strengths and weaknesses, thus ensuring sustainable learning success.
