Description
The Sparkassenverband Niedersachsen supports charitable initiatives statewide in the areas of education, health, integration, and sports through the lottery Sparen+Gewinnen. The aim is to strengthen social engagement and participation by financially supporting innovative projects. Funded are initiatives with statewide impact in Lower Saxony that make a sustainable contribution to societal challenges. The funds are granted as a one-time subsidy and must be used for the designated purpose to ensure a direct effect within the project context.
Eligible for funding are non-profit associations, federations, or other organizations with their registered office in Lower Saxony. Requirements include a clearly defined charitable project of statewide significance as well as proof of designated use of funds (no ongoing funding). To apply, a fully completed funding application and a detailed cost and financing plan are required. Continuous submissions are possible, with decisions made in spring and autumn sessions. Ongoing operational costs of the sponsor that do not directly serve the funded project are not supported.
