Support for the Tyrolean Civil Protection Association

The state of Tyrol continuously provides financial resources to the Tyrolean Civil Protection Association to cover the costs of the Children's Safety Olympics. These direct grants strengthen a non-profit emergency organization active in crisis and disaster management, thereby making a significant contribution to public safety in Tyrol. The funding enables practical exercises in which children and adolescents learn basic protective measures and can act confidently in emergencies. The flexible application deadline allows for the request of necessary resources without fixed deadlines – thus ensuring the structured planning of the event series in the long term and sustainably promoting the civic engagement of the association partnerships.

A prerequisite for receiving the grant is the annual submission of an activity report, the financial statement, and the auditors' report as proof of use at the general assembly and to the Office of the Tyrolean State Government. Only non-profit associations or interest groups that fulfill their tasks in disaster protection in accordance with the General Guideline of the State of Tyrol for Grants from State Funds are eligible for funding. All expenses directly related to the Children's Safety Olympics are reimbursed. The financial support contributes to strengthening regional disaster protection structures and implementing preventive measures for the youngest population group comprehensively.
