Description

The state funding supports the Tyrolean Civil Protection Association in covering the costs of the annual Children's Safety Olympics, thereby securing important preventive measures in disaster protection and the social sector. Recipients of this grant are exclusively non-profit associations and organizations in the state of Tyrol, in particular the Tyrolean Civil Protection Association as a central actor in civil protection. Through this direct subsidy financing, the sustainable implementation of the Olympics is guaranteed, during which children and young people are playfully sensitized to emergency situations. The funding contributes to refinancing material and organizational costs and thus strengthens long-term engagement in the social and security policy sectors.

Up to €100,000 are available annually, which can be applied for continuously – there is no deadline. Eligible costs include those incurred in connection with the Children's Safety Olympics and the regular tasks of the association. Prerequisites for disbursement are the submission of the following documents: activity report, final accounting, auditors' report, and proof of use. Submission and accounting are carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the state of Tyrol, and the use of funds must be reported to the general assembly. This continuous funding helps to strengthen the safety awareness of the youngest and to sustainably secure the association's non-profit work.
