The Nordheim Citizens' Foundation supports citizen-led initiatives in Nordheim and the surrounding area that promote social cohesion and shape a vibrant community life in Baden-Württemberg. Private individuals, interest groups, associations, non-profit organizations, as well as public institutions, can submit applications within the framework of ongoing grant allocations. Projects in the areas of democracy, social affairs, regional development, agriculture, and rural areas are funded, provided their commitment makes a sustainable contribution to local cohesion. The allocation is based on the foundation's purpose as defined in the statutes (§ 2) and is guided by the contribution to community life as well as alignment with the funding objectives of the Nordheim Citizens' Foundation.
A brief project description including the timeframe and desired funding amount is sufficient for the application review. Applicants may use the pre-prepared application form or submit an informal written application. Additionally, information on contact persons, contact details, a cost breakdown, and an overview of planned own funds and other financing sources is required. The decision is based on the content’s alignment with the foundation’s purpose and the positive impact of the project on community life. Thanks to the permanent funding opportunities, an ideal framework is provided to implement ideas with a future-oriented approach and jointly strengthen the diversity in Nordheim.
