Description

Support for Trainees (Conrad Foundation)
The Conrad Foundation supports trainees in IHK professions who are completing their training at a company in Berlin. The foundation's goal is to accompany young talents on their path to a successful IHK qualification and to facilitate the transition into professional life. Funding covers not only participation fees for training-accompanying events but also necessary material costs – such as learning materials or technical equipment – as well as, in cases of demonstrated financial need, additional living expenses. This financial relief enables eligible recipients to fully focus on acquiring professional skills and to complete their training with confidence.

Eligible applicants are individuals undergoing dual vocational training in an IHK profession in Berlin and aiming to obtain the IHK qualification at the end. Applications can be submitted at any time, as funding opportunities are offered continuously. The Conrad Foundation's board decides on the grant based on the submitted documents. The funding is provided as a non-repayable grant without legal entitlement and is tailored to the individual needs of the trainees. Interested parties can submit their documents directly via the application for funding on the IHK Berlin website to find out whether they qualify for support.
