Funding objective
The aim of this funding program is to support projects and initiatives of non-profit legal entities that contribute to the promotion of integration, inclusion, or equality within the meaning of § 14 No. 5, No. 6, No. 11 BSFG 2017. The funding is intended to contribute to the positive development of the aforementioned areas in sports and to increase the motivation for such projects and initiatives.

Description
Funding for Sport and Society – Equality, Integration, and Inclusion is aimed at non-profit organizations based in Vienna that implement projects in the field of sport. The program focuses on strengthening women’s and girls’ sports with consideration of socio-political gender aspects, promoting socially disadvantaged and migrant target groups, as well as the inclusive participation of people with disabilities. The goal is to advance equality in sport through financial support, to stimulate integration processes, and to increase long-term motivation for related initiatives. Budgets are not limited, and applications can be submitted continuously until the funding volume is exhausted. Positive developments in the specified areas of action are to be sustainably supported and made visible.
Eligible are non-profit legal entities that demonstrably contribute to the achievement of the goals anchored in the Federal Sports Funding Act. Requirements include the timely submission of a completed application form, a coherent cost and financing plan, and a detailed project description. After positive evaluation by the responsible specialist department, a non-repayable grant is awarded. The application procedure follows clear guidelines to ensure transparency and equal opportunities. Project leaders can thus realize initiatives in Vienna that view sport as a driver for social participation and equality.
