Description

The Baroque town of Blieskastel supports local clubs, organizations, groups, and initiatives with voluntary grants across diverse fields of activity such as sports, child and youth work, culture, regional development, and agriculture. The aim is to strengthen community work within the city area and to implement forward-looking projects. Funded are investment-related construction measures and renovations, youth training, special acquisitions (e.g., sports equipment, instruments), swimming training, as well as anniversary events. Eligible to apply are legally capable, non-profit organizations registered in the municipal club register with a predominant focus of activity in Blieskastel. Funding is provided as a grant within the framework of available budgetary resources, without any legal entitlement. Political associations and parties are excluded.

The grant rate varies depending on the measure between 25% and 70% of the documented costs, whereby construction measures are funded up to 50% (max. €5,000 per measure) and swimming training at 70% of the submitted net costs. Anniversary holders receive a fixed amount of €100 for all major club anniversaries starting from 25 years. A prerequisite is appropriate co-financing through own or third-party funds, submission of the invoice, and proof of public interest prior to the start of the measure. Applications for investment measures and special grants must be submitted in writing by October 31 of each year; swimming clubs submit their applications quarterly after the end of each quarter. Required are the completed application form, registration in the club register, and proof of co-financing. The city administration informs promptly about receipt and approval. This funding strengthens sustainable local engagement and supports future-oriented project work.
