Description
The Alliance for Children Foundation – Against Violence supports projects nationwide that act preventively against violence and strengthen child protection. Funding is provided to civil society organizations such as non-profit organizations, associations, and interest groups, as well as public institutions and companies. The goal is the sustainable empowerment of children and adolescents in their personal development, relief for parents in their educational responsibilities, and the professional qualification of volunteer and full-time multipliers. Applications submitted either once or continuously are accepted at any time via the Foundation’s online form and are reviewed based on fixed evaluation criteria.
Particular attention is given to the degree of innovation, long-term effectiveness, and low-threshold accessibility of the project approaches. Funded initiatives should also feature a mobile or outreach structure, be integrated into local cooperation networks, and have the potential for transferability to other regions. A gender-reflective approach and willingness to document and evaluate are further funding prerequisites. Projects that mobilize civic engagement receive bonus points. The grants are intended to be low-threshold and community-oriented to enable as many children and adolescents as possible to have a life free of violence. In this way, the Foundation contributes to sustainably anchoring violence-preventive structures and continuously raising public awareness for child protection.
