Funding (Applying for Assistance) from the BFV Social Foundation

The BFV Social Foundation provides targeted grants to support charitable initiatives as well as members of the Bavarian football community in need during emergencies and personal crises. Projects funded include those in the areas of social affairs, health, education, sports, culture & media, as well as vocational training and further education, provided they align with the Foundation’s statutory objectives. Eligible for funding are private individuals and non-profit organizations with verified affiliation to the Bavarian football community or those managing a corresponding project. Funding is particularly available for social aid measures, support services in unforeseen emergencies, and sustainable educational or integration initiatives. Expenditures for personnel and administrative costs of ongoing operations are excluded.

Applications for support may be submitted at any time and are subject to individual review by the Foundation’s board. To apply, a fully completed application form, proof of non-profit status, a detailed project description, and a comprehensive financing plan are required. The funding guidelines provide orientation regarding the funding criteria and the sustainable use of funds. Upon completion of the project, a usage report including accounting and a results report must be submitted. Through this transparent process, the BFV Social Foundation ensures balanced allocation of funds throughout Bavaria and helps ensure that as many clubs, initiatives, and individuals as possible receive prompt and unbureaucratic assistance in difficult life situations.
