Description

The Vector Foundation offers a permanent funding opportunity in the field of education for non-profit organizations and public-law entities in Baden-Württemberg. The grant program aims to support practical teaching and learning projects in the STEM subjects (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology) at secondary schools and universities. The goal is to strengthen science and technology education through qualified teachers and student teachers, as well as to promote educational opportunities for children and young people facing challenging starting conditions. Inquiries can be made at any time; experienced project managers in the field of education are available as contacts, and a comprehensive FAQ on the application process facilitates access to the funding procedure.

Projects with a duration of up to 36 months are eligible for funding. Applicants may request grants for material costs, personnel costs, administrative costs, overhead, and travel expenses. Projects outside the STEM focus areas or Baden-Württemberg, individual aid for private persons, permanent measures, construction projects, and international projects are not supported. Key evaluation criteria include a well-founded contextual analysis to avoid double funding, a clearly defined target group, and comprehensible impact objectives. Prerequisites for an application are the certificate of non-profit status, a detailed project description including the problem statement and action plan, a financial plan, and the contextual analysis. The Vector Foundation funds without an upper limit and encourages cooperation with other funding providers. With this offering, it is committed to sustainable and equitable STEM education in Baden-Württemberg.
