Description
The Dr. Wolfsteller | Feddersen Foundation supports innovative research projects nationwide that advance social-diaconal fields of activity. The focus is on practical approaches in elder and youth care as well as disability assistance. Funding is provided to non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and public bodies that develop new concepts for social participation, health promotion, and quality development with interdisciplinary teams. The foundation places special emphasis on projects that deliberately combine research and innovation to achieve sustainable changes for disadvantaged target groups.
The grant program promotes the development and testing of novel methods that are directly integrated into the practical work of social-diaconal institutions. Applications can be submitted at any time, provided the project meets the funding requirements: it must serve the advancement of social-diaconal work in at least one of the areas of elder and youth care or assistance for people with disabilities. Selection criteria prioritize the degree of innovation, practical relevance, and applicability. Interested research teams and sponsors of social-diaconal projects thus have the opportunity to realize pioneering concepts and directly incorporate them into the care and support of the target groups.
