Description

This funding initiative by the State of Tyrol is aimed at civil society actors, private individuals, interest groups, and educational institutions who wish to develop creative concepts in the areas of climate protection, climate change adaptation, and sustainability. Project applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis, with funding amounts ranging from €800 to €10,000 at a funding rate of up to 100%. Funded projects have a maximum duration of 24 months and provide space for initiatives that are locally anchored and have a long-term impact. This support sets impulses to establish sustainable changes in public spaces and promote active participation.

The focus is on measures that demonstrate transparent planning as well as a prudent, purposeful cost-benefit ratio and act as a driver for responsible action. Strong involvement of target groups is required to promote education, information, and awareness-raising, as well as to stimulate societal dialogue and individual responsibility. Selection is based on the criteria of innovation content, societal benefit, educational impact, and target group involvement. Applications will be considered until the funding volume is exhausted, thereby giving committed initiatives the opportunity to actively contribute to the implementation of Tyrol’s sustainability and climate strategy.
