Since its founding in Markkleeberg, the Rössing Foundation has been committed to promoting art, culture, and regional heritage in the Leipzig area. In accordance with the legacy of the authors and photographers Renate and Roger Rössing, it supports cultural initiatives as a non-profit foundation, particularly exhibitions, readings, and lectures. Eligible to apply are non-profit organizations, associations, and public institutions planning and implementing cultural events in the Leipzig/Markkleeberg region. Funding is provided in the form of grants and can be applied for continuously, provided the event location is within the designated funding area.
