Funding Agricultural Chamber - Funding Agreement

The funding agreement in Burgenland supports public institutions in the management and accompaniment of agricultural and forestry projects from 2023 to 2028. The focus is on participation in EU and national funding programs, the execution of inspections, as well as comprehensive advisory services for agriculture and forestry under the regional priority "smart growth with organic." Additionally, administrative assistance and the preparation of expert reports are financed. Eligible for funding are primarily the Office of the Burgenland State Government and the Burgenland Chamber of Agriculture. The agreement aims to strengthen regional development, promote sustainable practices, and ensure transparent use of public funds.

A prerequisite for the disbursement of a grant is the timely submission of semi-annual and quarterly reports with detailed evidence of expenses, savings and consolidation measures, as well as compliance with the principles of economy, efficiency, and appropriateness. A budget draft for the upcoming calendar year is also required, as well as the reporting of investments starting at €100,000 (excluding VAT). Only advisory services and the preparation of expert reports are eligible for funding. Applications can be submitted between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2028, with the project duration covering a total of 72 months. Public-law administrative bodies can thus expand their expertise and contribute to the sustainable development of Burgenland’s agricultural and forestry sector.
