Description
The Klaus-Martin-Winkler Foundation Leipzig supports non-profit or public institutions and educational organizations in Saxony that are dedicated to social cohesion. Funding is provided for initiatives that promote the personal development of young people into responsible, socially capable citizens, as well as projects offering age-appropriate housing and care services for older generations. Additionally, preventive and therapeutic measures aimed at reducing social, health-related, or moral risks—regardless of age or origin—are a focal point. Intercultural exchange, international understanding, and qualification measures for educational professionals contribute to sustainably strengthening the social fabric and enabling inclusive participation across all generations.
Applications for ongoing grant funding can be submitted at any time. For the spring session, submissions must be received by April 1, and for the autumn session by September 1. Eligible costs include personnel expenses, material and travel costs, as well as image materials. Applicants must submit a cover letter with the project title and requested funding amount, a brief content description, documentation on target groups and evaluation, a cost and financing plan, a timeline and action plan, relevant image materials, information about the institution including responsible persons, and a copy of the current tax exemption certificate. Selection is based on relevance to the target groups, effectiveness, sustainability, and alignment with funding priorities to generate lasting impulses for social cohesion.
