Description
The "Herz zeigen" Foundation offers non-profit organizations, public institutions, and private individuals in the Augsburg area the opportunity to receive grants for innovative, socially and community-oriented projects. Eligible projects include those in the fields of social affairs, children and youth, people with disabilities, housing construction and modernization, as well as infrastructure and urban development. Applicants must be based in or operate within the Augsburg region and submit a project concept oriented towards the common good. Selection is based on clear criteria: regional relevance, sustainability, and social benefit. Applications can be submitted continuously throughout the year. A detailed project description, a binding financing plan, and proof of non-profit status are required for application submission.
Through its funding, the foundation aims to achieve sustainable improvements in social infrastructure and to enable disadvantaged individuals, especially children, youth, and people with disabilities, to live self-determined lives in adequate housing. It relies on long-term partnerships with local initiatives, artists, and associations. The foundation waives administrative costs so that every euro raised flows directly into the projects. Endowments permanently increase the funding volume and can be claimed for tax purposes. Committed supporters can also establish a trust foundation or contribute housing via a donor annuity to sustainably support social infrastructure.
