Description
The Sports Infrastructure – Sports Facilities funding supports non-profit organizations, public institutions, and companies in the planning and implementation of sports venues in Lower Austria. The objective of this measure is the partial subsidization of construction, expansion, renovation, and refurbishment costs, as well as the necessary premises and operational facilities. Sports clubs, municipalities, and operators of sports infrastructure thereby have the opportunity to modernize existing facilities in a contemporary manner or to realize new locations, thus sustainably strengthening the sports landscape in the region.
Applications can be submitted continuously. A prerequisite for funding is an operational base in Lower Austria as well as the submission of a detailed project description and a cost and financing plan. Eligible expenses include all construction-related costs, including building costs, conversion measures, and repairs. For a complete submission, in addition to the financing plan, a building permit and supplementary documents regarding the project concept must be provided. The processing is carried out in the form of a direct grant; the budget depends on the funds available from the state at the time.
