Funding/Support of Social Work (Community Work) – Sönke-Nissen-Park Foundation Community Center

The Sönke-Nissen-Park Community Center Foundation supports a wide range of community work initiatives in Schleswig-Holstein at the historic manor house in Glinde. Grants are provided for projects such as StoP (City without Partner Violence), youth offender assistance, Miniclub, reading mentors, and the repair workshop. The goal is to enable social participation for children, adolescents, families, seniors, and vulnerable groups, as well as to strengthen preventive services. Through continuous funding opportunities, non-profit organizations, public institutions, and educational facilities can enter into cooperations and, together with experienced professionals, build social networks. The foundation places particular emphasis on civic education, commitment to social cohesion, and sustainable work in the social sector.

Interested groups and individuals from Glinde and the surrounding area with residence or activity in the funding region may submit inquiries at any time. A shared interest in community work and social engagement is a prerequisite to implement projects that promote togetherness and provide practical assistance. Volunteers receive professional support, and helpers benefit from exchange and further training. For cooperation requests, informal contact with the Gutshaus Glinde is sufficient – applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis.
