Description
The VCÖ Mobility Award Burgenland is aimed at non-profit organizations that implement innovative concepts for environmentally friendly, health-promoting, and efficient development of passenger and freight transport in Burgenland. With a state contribution of €4,000, the state of Burgenland, together with the Austrian Transport Club (VCÖ), supports the recognition and implementation of outstanding mobility projects. The goal is to make sustainable solutions visible and to shape the regional transport landscape to be future-proof in the long term.
Participants submit a written application to the VCÖ, after which a regional jury evaluates the submissions based on the criteria of environmental compatibility, health aspects, and efficiency improvement. A prerequisite for funding is also the activation of the projects in the VCÖ online database. Applications can be submitted at any time from 01.01.2025 onwards, as there is no deadline. Through the continuous edition of the VCÖ Mobility Award Burgenland, sustainable mobility innovations are promoted and made accessible to a broad public.
