Funding of Consulting Services (including Consultation Firms) Brandenburg

The Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Consumer Protection of the State of Brandenburg supports agricultural, forestry, and horticultural enterprises in Brandenburg with a 100% grant subsidy for consulting fees of up to €85 per consulting hour net. Funding is provided for individual and small group consultations across a total of 31 specialist areas – ranging from climate protection and biodiversity to digitalization, nutrient management, and energy efficiency, as well as animal welfare or peatland and water protection. The recognized consulting experts are qualified according to the advisory decree of the State Office for Rural Development, Agriculture and Land Consolidation and conduct at least two hours of on-site consultation per appointment. Applications for funding and submission of proof of incentive effect can be made continuously from February 5, 2024. The project duration is a maximum of six months, and the funding and payment application must be submitted within this period.

Within the framework of the funded group consultations, the enterprises conclude a joint contract with the consulting expert and each receive an individual final documentation. The consultation is documented in detail and requires the signature of the deputy enterprise as well as all participating enterprises. For all information and communication measures, participation in the EU-wide mandatory visibility measures is required: The EU logo with the note “Co-financed by the European Union” must be placed on all publications, presentations, or websites. Furthermore, explanatory panels will be installed for investment projects of €50,000 or more, prominently indicating the support from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. These measures ensure transparency, strengthen public trust, and emphasize the importance of CAP funding in Brandenburg.
