Description

Since 2008, the BISS Foundation has been supporting non-profit organizations, educational institutions, interest groups, and associations in Bavaria with grants for educational, training, and qualification projects. The goal is to provide disadvantaged individuals – including children, adolescents, refugees, migrants, and people facing social difficulties – access to language courses, school and art projects, or practical integration measures. By funding such initiatives, career opportunities are sustainably improved and social participation is strengthened. The funding areas cover education, vocational training and further education, as well as migration and social affairs, with a particular focus on measures for language promotion, career preparation, and social integration. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing for flexible planning and implementation of projects.

Interested organizations benefit from a straightforward application process and ongoing support from the Foundation. The funding criteria exclusively provide grants for non-profit projects that actively support disadvantaged target groups and create sustainable structures. Previously implemented initiatives include, for example, school projects with an artistic approach, sponsorships for trainees, or debt prevention programs for young people. Through this variety of funded projects, not only professional qualifications are imparted, but also social networks and personal skills of the participants are expanded. In doing so, the BISS Foundation makes a valuable contribution to equal opportunities and long-term integration into the labor and education market.
