Description

The Ulm/Donau-Iller Children’s Foundation supports external projects throughout the year in the Baden-Württemberg region that open up new perspectives for disadvantaged children and young people and promote equal opportunities in education, leisure, culture, health, and social participation. Funding is provided to non-profit organizations, educational providers, and public institutions that wish to implement a project with a comparable objective in Ulm/Donau-Iller. A project duration of up to 12 months and a minimum own contribution of 10% of the total costs, which may also be covered by donations or other third-party funds, are required. For-profit companies and private individuals are not eligible to apply. The grant is awarded as a non-repayable subsidy based on a fully completed and legally signed funding application as well as a transparent financing plan.

Interested organizations may submit the funding application at any time using the official application form. The decision on approval is usually made within eight weeks after receipt of all documents. Upon project completion, proof of use must be submitted in order for the grant payment to be made. Should questions regarding advance financing arise, the foundation offers individual coordination options. Through this program, the Ulm/Donau-Iller Children’s Foundation sustainably creates opportunities for young people whose starting conditions are limited due to social, financial, or familial circumstances. In this way, comprehensive participation and development opportunities are strengthened in the long term.
