Support for Family Organizations

As part of an open-ended grant initiative for Vorarlberg, non-profit family organizations, holiday homes, and the Marriage and Family Center in Feldkirch are supported in implementing family-oriented measures. The goal is to strengthen social cohesion through events, children's recreational activities, and targeted public relations in accordance with the Family Promotion Act. Projects in the areas of social affairs, children and youth, counseling, as well as work & social affairs and business financing, which benefit approximately 10,000 member families, are funded. Eligible to apply are Vorarlberg interest groups, non-profit associations, and institutions that conduct all activities economically, efficiently, and appropriately. The provision of funds is based on an annual resolution by the state government, with applications possible at any time.

For the application, a formal request as well as disclosure of the number of members or a participation confirmation are required. A prerequisite for funding is compliance with the provisions of the Family Promotion Act and the General Funding Guidelines of the State of Vorarlberg. In particular, the principles of economy, efficiency, and appropriateness must be observed. This measure is aimed at Vorarlberg family federations, family associations, children's friends, holiday homes, and the Marriage and Family Center in Feldkirch, enabling them to expand their counseling and care services and provide children with restorative holiday experiences. Continuous allocation of funds ensures that family-oriented projects can be implemented promptly and flexibly.
