Description
With a targeted grant, the state of Upper Austria strengthens the commitment of associations and interest groups that implement innovative projects for children and young people up to approximately 25 years old, beyond the state youth council. The focus is on measures in the areas of children and youth, social cohesion and democracy, as well as work & social affairs, which offer young people diverse opportunities for development and participation. The grant covers personnel costs, material costs, investment projects, and travel expenses to create scope for creative activities, democratic participation, and social networking. The funding objective is to sustainably intensify extracurricular youth work in Upper Austria and to strengthen local initiatives – from workshops and recreational activities to actions oriented towards the common good.
Submission & Deadlines: Interested associations submit their applications online in the first quarter of the year, no later than December 1. For investment measures, a minimum period of two months before the project start applies; holiday programs must be registered by August 31 at the latest. Requirements: Compliance with the general funding guidelines of the state of Upper Austria, the funding principles of the youth group, and having a registered office in Upper Austria. Associations represented in the Upper Austrian state youth council are not eligible for funding. Required documents include the fully completed and signed online form, a financing plan, a project description, and a current extract from the association register. Allocation is based on receipt, adherence to funding principles, and completeness of documents. This transparent structure and clear evaluation criteria optimally support and sustainably anchor innovative youth work models.
