Description
COME ON! is an initiative of the State of Lower Austria that effectively supports cultural and artistic projects by young people and young adults between the ages of 14 and 29. Funding is provided to individuals as well as groups, associations, or institutions with their main residence or project location in Lower Austria. In the fields of Culture, Music, and Culture & Media, COME ON! assumes a portion of the project costs as a grant provider. Applications can be submitted by email four times a year – each by midnight – on January 14, March 4, May 6, and October 14, 2026. Applications are informal and submitted via the official submission form, supplemented by a concise project description, a balanced budget, and a comparison of income and expenses. Press reports and sample copies complete the proof of use.
The selection process places central importance on degree of innovation, focus on youth culture, and feasibility. The program aims to strengthen young artists and cultural creators in Lower Austria in their artistic development and to enable the sustainable implementation of their own ideas. A qualified jury reviews all submitted applications according to established criteria. Upon positive decision, the funding is disbursed in a lump sum or in installments. Accounting is carried out through a detailed comparison of budgeted and actual amounts; upon request, annual financial statements and audit notes can be provided. Mandatory logo display, reporting obligations, and compliance with the guidelines under the Lower Austria Cultural Funding Act ensure transparency and funding quality. Interested young people and young adults can find comprehensive information under “Art & Culture” on NOE.gv.at.
