Funding of Measures in Water Management

With the funding of measures in water management, the State of Styria provides a targeted grant that can be applied for continuously. Funding is provided particularly for specialist seminars, training, and information projects that focus on sustainable water management, resource conservation, and climate protection. Department 14 Water Management, Resources and Sustainability thus supports initiatives that deliver practical expert information and raise awareness of ecological interrelationships. The measure directly aligns with the state's mandate and contributes to deepening expertise as well as advancing interdisciplinary networking between experts and participants.

Eligible for funding are companies, educational and research institutions, interest groups or associations, as well as private individuals who wish to implement projects in the fields of environmental/nature conservation, energy efficiency, and climate protection. For an application, proof of authorization and professional competence is as much a prerequisite as the alignment of the projects with the interests of the State of Styria. Submissions are made within the framework of specific calls by Department 14; applications are continuously possible from 01.01.2024. The transparently designed procedural process ensures that innovative educational offerings and high-profile information campaigns are granted more efficient access to financial support.
