Description
The funding program supports companies in Saxony-Anhalt in implementing investment projects aimed at increasing energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The target group includes small, medium, and large enterprises (excluding the tobacco industry) that can demonstrate an energy audit or an energy management system within their operations and have an inventory assessment conducted by a qualified expert. A transparent emission reduction and the implementation of the measure on-site in Saxony-Anhalt are prerequisites. Applications can still be submitted until June 30, 2027; implementation must take place within 18 months after approval.
Funding is provided, among other things, for building-related renovations (e.g., facade, roof, windows) and non-building-related energy efficiency measures such as the replacement of technical equipment or process optimization. Additionally, systems for the generation of renewable energy (photovoltaics, heat pumps), energy storage, district heating connections, green gas infrastructure, charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, building digitization, green roofs, and rainwater utilization are eligible for funding. The grant amounts to between 20% and 50% of eligible expenses, depending on the company size, with a minimum of €20,000 (or €150,000 for large enterprises). For the application, among other documents, a detailed project description, De-minimis and SME declarations, proof of company status and procurement procedures, as well as the energy audit certificate must be submitted.
