Description
The federal program for the promotion of trade fair and exhibition contributions for organic agricultural products supports companies, non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, and private individuals nationwide in presenting their organic products at recognized trade fairs and exhibitions. The goal is to strengthen the market presence of organic products through financial assistance in the form of a grant covering up to 50% of eligible expenses. Funding is provided, among other things, for stand rental, stand construction and equipment, transport and logistics costs, as well as on-site personnel costs. Through continuous application submission, exhibitors can respond flexibly to trade fair opportunities and increase their visibility in the competitive green sector.
A prerequisite for funding approval is proof of a valid organic certification according to the EU Organic Regulation as well as a binding participation confirmation from the respective trade fair or exhibition. For application submission, a completed application form, a cost and financing plan, the trade fair confirmation, and proof of organic certification are required. In the evaluation process, the ecological relevance of the exhibited products, the significance and reach of the trade fair, and the cost appropriateness of the stand appearance play a central role. The Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) commissions the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE) as the project sponsor to manage the funds and process the proof of use. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing interested parties to optimally plan and realize their trade fair participation without a fixed deadline.
