Support for Microprojects

The funding of microprojects in Saxony-Anhalt is aimed at independent organizations, institutions, associations, as well as committed actors based in the region who are dedicated to music cultural education. Within the framework of this grant program, the Musical Competence Center Saxony-Anhalt annually provides funds of up to €1,000 per project. Applications can be submitted continuously and offer an uncomplicated way to realize creative initiatives in schools, cultural centers, or extracurricular institutions. Due to the broad thematic scope – ranging from workshops and concerts to experimental formats – a diverse spectrum of offerings is created that appeals to curious participants of all ages and promotes exchange between composers, educators, and young music enthusiasts.

A prerequisite for funding is a formal location in Saxony-Anhalt as well as a clear project focus in the field of music cultural education. The program particularly supports initiatives that build sustainable networks and strengthen regional cooperations. As a continuous funding instrument, it complements existing funding structures and enables even very small projects to be implemented professionally. Interested initiatives benefit from an unbureaucratic application process and prompt approval.
