Description
The funding program for sustainable small projects in Vorarlberg supports initiators from associations, non-profit groups, public institutions, educational institutions, and private individuals, provided broad public participation is ensured. With a one-time grant of up to €770, decentralized initiatives in the areas of environmental/nature conservation, climate protection, energy efficiency & renewable energies, commitment to social cohesion, and social affairs are promoted. A straightforward application process allows submissions at any time until the funding volume is exhausted. The goal is to strengthen voluntary engagement and personal initiative through interdisciplinary approaches and to advance innovative solutions for current socio-political challenges.
The selection considers transparent project planning, appropriate target group involvement, awareness-raising, as well as the contribution to at least one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. For the application, a financing plan, detailed information on concurrent or completed funding applications with other legal entities, and proof of bank details with legitimation are required. After project completion, documentation of the results including original receipts and overall financing proof must be submitted. The responsible office is the Office for Voluntary Engagement and Participation of the Vorarlberg State Government, which supports project initiators with inquiries and during implementation and ensures compliance with the General Funding Guidelines.
