Description
The statewide open ELER-funded support measure in Brandenburg aims to sustainably strengthen practice-oriented networks, cooperations, and regional value chains in agriculture, forestry, and the food industry. Funding is provided both for the initiation of new and the further development of existing alliances consisting of businesses, public and non-profit institutions, as well as actors focused on nature, environmental, and consumer protection. With a 100 percent grant rate and a maximum project duration of 60 months, costs for personnel, events, travel, and a flat-rate reimbursement of residual costs are covered. A prerequisite is a project-related cooperation agreement between at least two partners, proof of corresponding project areas in the rural region of Brandenburg, as well as the professional endorsement of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Environment and Consumer Protection (MLEUV). Selection rounds take place continuously, with the first deadlines on February 23 and March 23, 2026.
The goal is the joint development and implementation of concepts, strategies, and pilot projects that promote resource-, environment-, and climate-friendly land use as well as climate-adapted cultivation systems. Furthermore, the focus lies on improving regional organic value chains and differentiated marketing. The projects should enable knowledge transfer, public relations, and exchange of experience in the form of network meetings, specialist events, and field days, thereby generating practice-oriented recommendations for action. The areas of application range from agri-environmental measures to organic model regions and the development of sustainable value chains for agricultural, forestry, and biogenic products. Interested parties can continuously submit their concepts online via the project funding application portal of the Investment Bank of the State of Brandenburg and look forward to a closely networked community that develops forward-looking solutions for rural areas.
