Funding of projects by municipal waste disposal authorities (from KIF funds)

The program supports municipal corporations in Baden-Württemberg with innovative projects in emission and occupational safety as well as waste management. With funds from the Municipal Investment Promotion Fund (KIF), measures are supported that sustainably improve environmental and health protection while simultaneously strengthening operational occupational safety. Examples of funding include technical modernizations of disposal facilities, investments in low-emission vehicles, or measures to optimize internal processes. The objective is to promote regional circular economy, reduce pollutant emissions, and at the same time increase occupational safety for employees.

Eligible for funding are public institutions obligated under municipal law to manage waste disposal. Applications can be submitted continuously and are granted as non-repayable subsidies. The total financing depends on the specific project scope and eligible investment costs. Through collaboration with experts from environmental authorities and occupational safety organizations, a practical exchange is created that provides long-term impetus for resource-efficient waste management and improved working conditions. Interested corporations from Baden-Württemberg can thus actively contribute to the implementation of climate protection and environmental goals while simultaneously increasing the efficiency of their disposal processes.
