Funding for Renovation Consultations

The residential building renovation subsidy in Vorarlberg is aimed at owners of single-family and multi-family houses, owners' associations, as well as non-profit organizations and companies wishing to utilize qualified renovation consulting. Planning costs and consulting fees for the energetic and technical support of single-family homes, terraced houses, and apartment buildings are subsidized. The funding rate amounts to 75% of the documented consulting costs, up to a maximum of €2,000 per individual building or €5,000 for larger residential buildings with more than six units. A prerequisite for funding is residence in Vorarlberg and official building approval for the construction project. Applications can be submitted until December 31, 2026; the funding program is valid until then.

The renovation consulting includes, among other things, existing and planned energy certificates, variant studies, implementation concepts, and an overview of supplementary nationwide funding programs. The selection of consultants is exclusively through authorized energy certificate issuers or independent civil engineers and engineers. Furthermore, renovation support up to final billing can be subsidized with up to €1,000 (individual building) or €2,000 (multi-family house). Applications are submitted via the form “Residential Building Renovation – Application for Renovation Consulting Subsidy” along with proof of consulting costs. Payment is made after positive funding approval; the application must be submitted in triplicate.
