Description
The Dr. Fritz Reimnitz Foundation supports school projects at public schools in Baden-Württemberg, particularly in Bräunlingen and Löffingen. Funding is provided for initiatives in which at least ten students from one of the two towns actively participate and at least one involved person resides in Bräunlingen or Löffingen. If additional funds are available, schools from the districts of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald and Schwarzwald-Baar may also submit applications. The aim is to strengthen innovative educational initiatives and enrich regional learning environments through extracurricular or interdisciplinary projects. The foundation’s board decides annually on the number and amount of grants.
Submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis; there are no fixed deadlines. To apply, a detailed project description along with the completed application form in PDF format must be submitted by email. In addition to presenting the project idea, the application should include information about the participating teachers and students, the financial plan, and the expected benefits for the school community. Since there is no legal entitlement to funding, approval is subject to the availability of sufficient funds. Through this flexible funding structure, the foundation aims to create sustainable impulses for school development processes and to improve the educational opportunities of young people in the region in the long term.
