Description
Within the framework of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), the state of Brandenburg supports the socio-pedagogical supervision and professional guidance of formerly long-term unemployed individuals in social enterprises through a grant. The objective is to secure employment, compensate for productivity limitations, and strengthen sustainable integration into the regular labor market. Personnel expenses for supervisory and guidance staff can be covered up to 100% of the eligible costs, with a maximum funding amount of 4,726 EUR per full-time equivalent per month. The funding period extends up to 36 months; applications can be submitted continuously and must be sent by post to the Investment Bank of the State of Brandenburg (ILB).
Eligible applicants are legal entities under public and private law as well as legally capable partnerships operating a social enterprise in Brandenburg and employing formerly long-term unemployed persons with productivity limitations or placement barriers under social security obligations. A prerequisite is proof of the entrepreneurial objective as a social enterprise, submission of a business plan or social business model canvas, as well as an integration concept. Supervisory and guidance personnel must be employed under social security obligations, the social enterprise must already be established at the time of application, and participants must have their main residence in Brandenburg and be employed for at least one day per funded month. Application documents to be submitted include a fully completed application form, business plan, integration concept, personnel deployment/job description form, and, if applicable, a power of attorney. The application deadline is December 31, 2028.
