Funding of Training Camps – Children's and Youth Football Foundation Jena

The Jena Children and Youth Football Foundation continuously supports training camps for football-talented children and adolescents in Jena and the surrounding area. The goal is to sustainably strengthen regional youth football by supporting football training in professionally organized camps. Grants are provided for personnel supervision, training materials, travel expenses, as well as accommodation and catering costs. The measure is aimed at interest groups and clubs that, according to the applicable funding criteria, conduct camps where young talents combine technical, tactical, and social learning in an intensive environment. Through targeted support, the foundation makes an important contribution to the development of young athletes and creates long-term prospects for elite football in the region.

Applications can be submitted informally at any time by the organizing club. Essential requirements are the regional connection to Jena and the surrounding area as well as a focus on youth development in children’s and youth football. The allocation is based on clearly defined evaluation criteria: compliance with funding criteria, regional relevance, talent orientation, and youth promotion. Clubs can use the funding not only for training materials such as balls and training equipment but also for supervision by qualified personnel. Travel expenses to external training locations as well as accommodation and catering for participants are equally supported. This open funding mechanism allows flexible planning and facilitates the implementation of demanding training camps for both small and large clubs without encountering financial bottlenecks.
