Description
The funding for Gender Mainstreaming is a continuously open grant instrument of the State of Styria, which supports projects, initiatives, structures, and institutions in the implementation of equality measures. Eligible for funding are interest groups, associations, companies, foundations, non-profit and public educational institutions active in the fields of women's advancement, counseling, education and training, social cohesion, labor and social affairs, as well as corporate financing. The goal is to create framework conditions through awareness-raising, counseling, capacity building, and foundational work that anchor gender mainstreaming in all areas of society. Eligible costs include, among others, personnel costs, material and supply costs, consulting fees, event or communication expenses.
With regard to the funding objective, measures that promote factual gender equality and embed it within organizations are supported. The evaluation criteria include the contribution to the goals of the women's and equality strategy, degree of innovation, implementation quality, sustainability and networking, as well as relevance to the target group. Application documents to be submitted include a current funding application (Excel form), a de minimis declaration, a detailed project description, and a financing plan. Submission deadlines follow quarterly allocation rounds, which are announced in a timely manner on the funding management website. Applications are free of charge, and the use of funds must be documented through activity reports and accounting in accordance with the framework guidelines.
